Therapy helps find the intersection of clarity and strength.
You’re in the right place. Stop waiting for the “next time” to feel better about yourself, relationships, or life in general.
If you’re ready to live out your purpose, dive in, grab life by the reigns, and make some honest changes, then we should chat and discuss the new you. My in-person and online session hours won’t cause restrictions.
As your therapist, I’m crazy enough to believe that every person who seeks healing, self-love, and growth is deserving of living a fulfilled and abundant life. It is not easy to unlock and live in your truth.
Understanding the inner workings of your mind, emotions, and past trauma is where the intersection of clarity and strength cross.
Making peace with yourself is the goal.
Through counseling and coaching, I help my clients face and make peace with their thoughts, past, and future self. Counseling is the vehicle that allows me to travel alongside you on your journey toward building long-lasting relationships.
I don’t wish for my clients to only feel peace when they’re in my office. My goal is to provide tools that encourage lasting and sustainable change. My clients find that sessions help them tap into their inner wisdom. Talk therapy, mind-set activities, or sand play all encourage daily routines that aid in healing wounds stemming from previous points of life.
Take a deep breath. You’re in the right place and no longer alone.
My approach is interactive, nonjudgmental, and real.
My personal journey wasn’t easy or perfect. Living my truth was the hardest thing I ever had to do. So, no, I didn’t walk your path or stand in your shoes, but I’m here to listen to you while you tell your story.
My job is to give you results in the quickest and most ethical way possible. It’s about relief. I provide instant feedback, assignments to focus on between sessions, and new tools to learn necessary coping skills.
Nothing makes me happier than helping my clients truly feel better about themselves and their relationships.
It’s about trust and finding your way.
A trusted therapist meets you where you are and helps you talk through your fears, your pain, and anything else that is holding you back from being who you really are.
Imagine connecting with a person who listens intently to better understand how the pain is affecting you in the here and now, including where you are in your journey, how you got there, and how to help create a road map to get you where you wish to be in life.
With the right amount of courage, patience, and self-love, this is totally doable. As your therapist, I will be right by your side the entire way.
First, we listen and learn.
During our first session together, I will reach out to answer any pressing concerns that led you to therapy, provide a virtual tour of my office, while explaining my style and professional background.
This will be the time where I will be listening to you, learning about concerns, fears, and understanding your story, while working toward building our therapeutic alliance.
Next, we will set a scheduled time to meet for your first session. Initially, sessions will occur on a weekly basis, but this could either increase or decrease based on your needs. Together, we’ll find alternative approaches that are tailored just for you, so you can begin to feel relief in your life and re-establish healthy relationships, starting with the one with yourself.
Your schedule can be accommodated.
I have flexible hours from 8 am – 6 pm on Monday – Friday, 8 am – 1 pm on Saturdays, to accommodate your schedule.
The education and training aside, being present and passionate about helping you find balance in your life is what sets me aside from other therapists. I truly believe that you deserve a safe place to unload the mental and emotional weight you’ve been carrying.
Growth is what it is all about.
As someone who has a wanderlust spirit, I have been fortunate to travel the world and learn/grow from many humans from all over the beautiful world.
I deeply enjoy working with clients from many different cultural and religious backgrounds. However, my favorite client is the one who’s ready to grow and break through old constructs that no longer add value.
Yo! It’s time for clarity and a new life.
Take a deep breath, know that you got this, and let’s get to work designing the life you deserve.
Call me directly at (719) 749-6860, schedule an appointment, and I will get right back to you. See you soon.
About Me
My journey is similar to a puzzle, littered with pieces that perfectly came together to create exactly what I’m doing today.
I originally pursued a business degree during my undergraduate program. After college, I decided to travel and explore; but the more I traveled, the more I realized that people, regardless of the culture, operated on the same basic principles. We all want love and acceptance from each other. This premise served to be true across many different cultures. I discovered the universal language was love.
Subsequently, I obtained a variety of jobs working with diverse populations – from a Walmart manager, a financial advisor, to a youth correctional officer that deeply influenced my work with people.
One of my favorite careers was working in a correctional setting where I worked with people who were deeply depressed and without much of anything.
This work taught me the value of being present and honest. Not only did I learn the unique challenges inmates faced, but I also learned that people could change and grow given the opportunity through counseling and educational/psychological evaluations. My experience and ability to relate to youth provided an instant connection.
I helped numerous kids develop higher senses of self-esteem and self-awareness by equipping them with tools to regulate their emotions and work toward educational and career goals. It was here that I confirmed my passion to pursue private practice.
To learn is to grow…
I quickly started to apply what I observed first-hand into my own life. What I realized is that one must start with the relationship with themselves before attempting to figure out someone else’s story. I started working with professionals, spiritual teachers, and doing my own deep self-work.
I eventually entered my graduate studies to become a clinical psychotherapist.
In my spare time, I enjoy a good cigar, traveling, and playing chess – above all I enjoy spending time outdoors and being around good people/catching positive vibes.
