Hard to express true feelings.
When someone asks you how you’re doing, do you just say “fine” and change the subject?
When you are living in the shadows of life, there is no one that you trust with how you really feel.
That response is used with strangers, close friends, and family. There is no ‘being true to yourself.’ You just smile and keep up appearances, even with the people you love.
If you suffer from anxiety, feel like you need to work hard to fit in and please the people around you, or feel like you can’t tell the truth about how you feel, you might need counseling.
Learning to be honest is the beginning of true expression.
It’s okay to be honest: a lot of the time, you’re not fine. You’re struggling with worry, the state of your relationships, or internal conflicts you can’t talk about.
Counseling can bring you from a less than honest “I’m fine” to a wholehearted “I’m doing well.”
It’s about becoming the best version of yourself.
My passion is all about helping individuals manifest and actualize the absolute best version of themselves.
It’s about establishing and restoring healthy relationships with a foundation of truth, setting boundaries, and helping clients activate their full potential.
As your guide, I listen and hold space for you to see your inherent worth and beauty. I don’t emphasize any specific path toward wellness. It’s my job to walk beside you and support you as you find your way to “I’m doing well.”
Imagine connecting with a person who listens intently to better understand how the pain is affecting you in the here and now. It’s about learning where you are in your journey, how you got to your current place, and how to create a road map to get you to where you wish to be in life.
With the right amount of courage, patience, and self-love, this is doable. As your therapist, I will be right by your side the entire way, because it is about you going forward to a new life.
The approach focuses on the whole client.
How we achieve the results may vary for each client. I encourage and welcome my clients to discuss their beliefs in whatever way they are comfortable.
I’m a holistic practitioner by nature and closely examine all aspects of your life, including mind, body, and spirit. This helps us determine where we start.
A crucial part of our time together involves me listening to your experiences that may be shaping your current relationships. My belief is past relationships with your caretakers hold many keys to your breakthroughs.
Lots of tools to help you find your way.
I also have a variety of approaches that enable me to meet you right where you are.
My training is in Rogerian and Jungian Therapy. Both techniques allow me to connect on the deepest level when making sense of the internal relationship with yourself and how it plays out in other relationships and areas of your life.
My clients appreciate that I offer a ton of support and make them feel safe in therapy, yet don’t shy away from the truth. You are offered honest feedback and ideas, while challenging incongruent thoughts or beliefs that might be creating a block and getting in the way of progress.
Let’s take the journey.
Counseling is the vehicle that allows me to travel on your journey as you build an evolved and lasting relationships. With counseling and coaching, I help my clients face and make peace with their thoughts, past, and future self.
My goal is to provide tools that encourage lasting and sustainable change, not just peace in my office space.
Sessions may vary depending on the type that helps a specific client. My approach may use talk therapy, mindset activities, and Sand Play, all of which encourage daily routines that aid in healing wounds stemming from events earlier in life.
